Nic has been at the forefront of the contemporary music scene for over thirty years, he is founder and violist of the internationally acclaimed Smith Quartet and in recent years he has created a new exciting repertoire for the electric viola.
Following the retirement from the quartet of their founder member Nobuko Imai, the Michelangelo Quartet is pleased to welcome Michael Barenboim as violist.
